Konark Sun Temple:-
It is a 13th-century CE Hindu Sun temple at Konark about 35 kilometres northeast from Puri city on the coastline in Puri district, Odisha, India.
The temple is attributed to king Narasingha Deva I of the Eastern Ganga dynasty about 1250 CE. It is the pinnacle of Hindu Orissan architecture

*From Bhubaneswar (capital of Odisha): Around 62–65 km southeast and takes ~60 minutes by road.
The Konark Sun Temple is one of the most magnificent examples of temple architecture in India. Dedicated to the Sun God (Surya), it symbolizes the chariot of Surya, drawn by seven horses and driven on twelve intricately carved wheels.
Shape: Resembles a colossal chariot
*Wheels: 12 pairs of stone wheels (~3 meters in diameter), each a sundial showing time
*Horses: 7 stone-carved horses represent the days of the week
*Main Sanctum (Shikhara): Originally ~70 meters high, but has since collapsed
*Jagamohana (Audience Hall): Still stands and is richly decorated
*Erotic Sculptures: Similar to Khajuraho, representing life, creation, and devotion
