 Rajrappa Mandir (also known as Chhinnamastika Temple or Maa Chinnamastika Mandir) is a renowned Shaktipeeth and tantric shrine nestled at the confluence of the Damodar and Bhairavi (Bhera) rivers in Ramgarh district, Jharkhand.

The presiding deity is Goddess Chhinnamasta, one of the ten Mahavidyas. Her fearsome idol depicts her holding her severed head in one hand and a sword in the other, with three streams of blood nourishing her attendants—Dakini, Shakini, and her own head—while standing atop a lotus and the bodies of Kamdev and Rati  .

Believed to have tantric origins dating back over 6,000 years, possibly built by divine architect Vishwakarma or the Pandavas  .


The current structure and idol were consecrated in the 18th century by Rudranarayan Ghoshal  .


Designed with a circular dome reminiscent of Assam’s Kamakhya Temple and features a single east-facing entrance  .
