Overview & Spiritual Significance of Parasnath Hill (Shikharji, Giridih) :- Parasnath Hill, also known as Sammet Shikhar or Marang Buru, is the highest point in Jharkhand, standing at approximately 1,365 m (4,478 ft) above sea level. It's situated in Giridih district on the Chota Nagpur Plateau . The summit of this hill is the sacred Jain pilgrimage center called Shikharji, arguably the most important Jain tirtha. It's revered because 20 of the 24 Tirthankaras achieved moksha (liberation) here, including the 23rd Tirthankara, Parshvanatha, who attained nirvana in 772 BCE .  Pahari Mandir, perched atop Ranchi Hill (also locally known as Richi Buru), is a revered Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in Ranchi, Jharkhand.  🕉️ Overview & Spiritual Significance of Pahari Mandir:- Location & Elevation: The temple stands at around 2,140 ft above sea level (approx. 350 ft above ground level) in Ranchi, about 8 km from Ranchi Junction railway station and 12 km from the airport.   Deity: Lord Shiva is worshipped in the form of a linga.
